Basic expectations for using Conduit for Christ during the pilot.
Central Maryland pilot notice:
These pages describe current working expectations for the pilot. They should be reviewed by appropriate ministry leadership and legal counsel before broader public reliance.
Purpose
- Conduit for Christ exists to coordinate practical service through a Christ-centered, coordinator-mediated pilot network.
- The platform is not an emergency service, crisis hotline, medical provider, legal provider, financial institution, or public benefits agency.
- Submitting a need, applying as an organization, or expressing interest as a volunteer does not guarantee approval, publication, matching, service, or follow-up.
- The pilot is intended for practical service coordination in and near the Central Maryland pilot communities.
Participant responsibilities
- Provide accurate information and update coordinators if circumstances change.
- Use the platform with integrity, humility, respect, safety, and love for neighbors.
- Do not use Conduit for Christ to harass, exploit, manipulate, deceive, fundraise deceptively, or pressure people into religious participation.
- Do not publish or share private requester, volunteer, or organization information outside the approved service context.
- Stay within the approved scope of any request, assignment, organization role, or coordinator responsibility.
Platform discretion
- Moderators may approve, decline, pause, request clarification, or remove requests, organizations, memberships, interests, or assignments.
- Participation or listing does not mean Conduit for Christ endorses every doctrine, position, program, or activity of a person or organization.
- Conduit for Christ may restrict access when needed to protect people, preserve privacy, address safety concerns, or keep the pilot aligned with its mission.
- Policies may be updated as the pilot reveals practical needs and risks.
