See a need, use your gifts, serve your neighbor, and be a conduit for Christ

Pilot phase

Conduit for Christ is currently in a controlled Central Maryland pilot with trusted communities. Requests are reviewed before publication, and help is not guaranteed.

Central Maryland pilot network

Connecting needs with the hands and feet of Jesus.

Conduit for Christ helps people submit practical needs and helps believers, churches, ministries, and community partners respond with care, dignity, and accountability.

Initial pilot: Pasadena, Columbia, Ellicott City, Laurel, Catonsville, and nearby Central Maryland communities.

Why it exists

Needs are real. Willing people are real. Connection is often the gap.

The platform gives trusted communities a shared place to receive needs, review them carefully, protect private information, and connect each request with appropriate help.

01

Receive

A person or organization submits a practical need.

02

Review

A coordinator verifies the request and protects private details.

03

Connect

A volunteer or partner community is approved to serve.

Practical service

Simple help, handled with care.

The pilot starts with practical, lower-risk categories that trusted communities can realistically fulfill.

Food and essentials
Delivery, household items, clothing, furniture, and referrals.
Hands-on help
Moving, lifting, lawn care, exterior work, and basic household assistance.
Transportation and events
Adult transportation and community or ministry event volunteers.
Prayer and follow-up
Relational care, encouragement, and connection to local support.

Safety and dignity

People are neighbors, not projects.

Volunteers browsing opportunities see only general information. Exact addresses, phone numbers, emails, and sensitive circumstances remain private until a coordinator approves the match.

  • Coordinator approval before private details are shared
  • Clear boundaries for emergency, crisis, sensitive, or professional needs

Take the next step

Submit a need, prepare to serve, or help a partner community get started.

Conduit for Christ is beginning as a trusted pilot network. The goal is to learn carefully, serve faithfully, and protect the people involved.
